Principals in our research team are industry recognised for producing original, innovative, in-depth global research.

Principals in our research team have in the past been commissioned by the Department of International Development, the Ford Foundation and the IMF and been part of working groups organised by the Commonwealth Heads of Governments looking into financial crises.

Work in progress includes:
  Analysing specific areas relating to the implementation and applicability of Basel 2 on developing economies, at the request of a government sponsor;

  Researching an optimal microfinance structure that would succeed in the commercial environment, as opposed to the more usual government sponsored developmental arena and the charitable arms of large banks;

  Assessing the feasibility of, and then producing, a framework aimed at managing Central Bank Reserves more efficiently;

  Researching the link between a country’s external image – or brand – and their potential economic growth and development;

  Research into implementing a liquidity ratings system for loans; and

  At the request of a UK based NGO, researching and producing a paper on the feasibility of implementing a transactions tax, with the amounts raised being applied to bridge the funding gap for meeting the UN's Millennium Development Goals.
